Jessica is a Washington, D.C. native committed to serving her community through her legal practice and philanthropy. At A+O Law Group, Jessica advises clients in family law, landlord-tenant, business and contract matters, and strives to accomplish her clients’ goals through proactive and creative problem-solving. Jessica prides herself on being a responsive and effective advocate for each of her clients.
Prior to founding A+O Law Group, Jessica worked as a tax associate at a large law firm based in Washington, D.C., where she litigated complex tax matters and advised large companies on the tax implications of various transactions. Jessica also litigated family law matters on a pro bono basis at her prior firm, which sparked her interest in litigating family matters full time. During law school, Jessica gained valuable experience as a law clerk at the United States Department of Labor where she issued opinions related to EEOC claims. At the United States Department of Justice, Jessica served as a legal intern within the Civil Frauds division, litigating multi-million dollar whistleblower claims. At the Eastern District of Virginia, Jessica served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Anthony J. Trenga, drafting opinions on a variety of cases before the court. Jessica also clerked for Fay Law Group before joining as an associate, where she litigates a variety of matters, including civil rights, labor and employment and products liability.
In addition to her legal practice, Jessica has served as a tenant advocate for Rockville City Council’s Landlord Tenant Commission. Jessica also participates in various pro bono clinics including Maryland Volunteer Legal Services.
Jessica is a trained Mediator for domestic matters and offers co-parenting coaching for parents seeking to strengthen their parenting relationship.

Christopher J. Martin is a seasoned attorney, experienced in helping individuals, families and small business owners with their legacy planning needs. Chris works closely with his clients to create and implement plans to benefit their families and communities through various methods including both lifetime gifting and postmortem wealth transfers. Chris tailors his planning based on his client’s personal goals to help them preserve pass their values and wealth to future generations. In addition to his work with individual clients, Chris regularly speaks to both public and private organizations and has contributed to numerous publications including articles for the National Business Institute and The Business Monthly.
Formerly, Chris worked for a boutique estate planning firm in Montgomery County Maryland, overseeing a variety of estate planning and probate matters and managed a solo estate planning practice. Chris also had the pleasure of serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Sheila R. Tillerson Adams, Chief Administrative Judge for the 7th Circuit of Maryland.
Chris earned his law degree from Howard University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University, from which he graduated magna cum laude and was on the Dean’s List.

Vanessa R. Dozier is an adept attorney who uses her passionate approach to help clients achieve the best possible results. Prior to working with A+O Law Group, she founded the Law Office of Vanessa R. Dozier, LLC (LOVD) in 2017. Her speciality areas include Family Law (Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support), Bankruptcy (Chapter 7), and Personal Injury. She is most notable for earning the National Black Lawyers Association Top 40 under 40 and the Lawyers of Distinction awards. While law is his/her primary job function by day, Vanessa also enjoys reading, fitness and travel.

Jasmine is the legal assistant at A+O Law Group where she is responsible for administrative duties and marketing. On a mission to assist, she is focused on improving internal processes to create the highest efficiency for the attorneys and clients.
Prior to taking on her role at A+O Law Group, Jasmine gained experience with the Congressman David Trone as a congressional intern. She provided aid in the planning and execution of events in addition to performing clerical duties. Some of the events she assisted with include the 2019 Seniors Workshop, the 2019 Gun Violence Prevention Forum, and the 2019 Congressional art show.
Jasmine is currently attending the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland at College Park, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Outside of work, she is an active member of the Women’s Empowerment Institute, serves as the VP of Membership Operations in the American Marketing Association at Shady Grove, and is a member of the Student Council at the Universities at Shady Grove.
